Implemented Compensation Event Notifications (ICE) are communications issued by the Project Manager, to notify the Contractor that a compensation event has been implemented. These communications are used after any of the following occur: The Contractor accepts the quotation, there is a notification of a Project Manger's assessment, and when the quotation is deemed accepted due to the Project Manager's failure to respond to a quotation submission within the contractual time period.

The ICE updates the contract with cost and time changes. Associated forms, documents, and files may be added to an ICE.
